Entrepreneurial Inner Peace

"Time management is the art or act of determining the occurrence or sequence of events." Hyrum Smith

The objective of good time management is really inner peace. What does inner peace have to do with achieving your objectives as an entrepreneur? Successful entrepreneurs are able to function in a space of stillness and serenity while juggling multiple projects, priorities and opportunities.

In order to handle the juggling you must be able to determine what your priorities are and then create action plans, meetings and events which support their execution. Unfortunately for many, once the entrepreneur badge goes on, the disciplined planning and prioritizing often goes out the door. The result is that a large number of entrepreneurs get hurried and harried, they stress and press, make simple, silly mistakes and end up chasing activities and events which are not connected to their goals and dreams. In fact, far more entrepreneurs run out of energy than run out of opportunity or money.

If you can thoughtfully determine what your priorities are and then work them into a logic sequence during your day – you will be well on your way to gaining control of your time, increasing your productivity and developing inner peace.

The natural by-product of inner peace is an increased ability to focus on priorities, an awareness of new opportunities and the capacity to adapt in order to succeed.
