I recently made the switch over to NewKey Home Lending, and here is WHY.....
When you join WLG, even if you are experienced, you can only start at a 63% commission split. Most people start at 30% and THEN split your first 3 loans with a trainer. On top of that, I am not even going to mention was is taken for your loan coordinator that you are required to use and for your taxes.
At NewKey Home Lending, you are paid 80% from day 1. Also, you are a 1099 employee (if you are licensed), therefore you are paid on a full 80%. You are self employed, therefore you control your taxes and writeoffs. There is no rule about splitting your loans with a field builder.
Now, can you imagine the success you would have if you started out at an 80% commission split? AND, if everyone you recruit starts out at 80% commission splits! (Also, I did not believe in recruiting "average Joe" off the street to join a mortgage company when I knew they probably wouldn't really produce the numbers that the brochure outlined.) But now, people are coming to me asking to join because we pay up to 100%, and that is JUST ON PERSONAL PRODUCTION.
The real beauty of NewKey Home Lending (like WLG) is the residual/ passive income that you will make. Just like WLG, you are paid from the efforts of your team, EVEN THOUGH they are joining at the same commission level you are! And the residuals are paid infinitely on your down line. Average royalty checks in California are about $250 per closed loan. Now this might not sound like much, but realize that most people have a team made up of actual producers. Unlike WLG, the commission splits are high enough that your team will consist of people who actually close loans. You can have a hundred friends, family members, and next door neighbors on your team at WLG, but if no one is producing loans, then you don’t get paid on residuals.

So even if you have just 5 people on your first line, and they get only 4 people each and then they only get 3 people each, THAT’S $15,000 A MONTH in passive income.
